This is how baby Andi looks like this week. I am now on my 33rd week of pregnancy. Seven more weeks to go! This week she will weighs around 4 pounds and would be gaining more each week to shed off those wrinkled skin. You can keep track your baby's development at BabyCenter. Lots of information that could help you.
Right now, I could sleep a little bit better through the night. But experiencing a tingling pain in my fingers, and my wrist hurts. I could not put pressure on it especially during the evening and morning. I always asked my husband to massage my hands and feet to make me feel better. Aside from that, everything is good, my baby has been moving A LOT ! I mean really a lot! Sometimes, I was thinking if this is still normal, because i feel like she is not sleeping anymore. LOL! but that's good though, rather than her not moving.
I washed and ironed all her stuff already. Just want to do it as early as now while I still feel great. Just need to buy a few more toiletries and a Stroller, and I'm all set!

Will Stretch Marks Vanish ?
Are you seeing those white marks in your belly ? Worried that those stretch marks will never vanish?
While I was pregnant with my first child, I could not see any of those white stretch marks in my belly. I only found them after I gave birth to Gabz. At first it was dark marks, putting moisturizer in many years had lighten the marks, but it was still there. They said that stretch marks will not vanish at all, UNLESS you are gifted with good skin. Some women does not have any stretch, heredity plays a great part in who will have stretch marks and who will not. They said that if your mother had them most probably you will have them too.
Putting lotion and other moisturizers does not removed stretch marks, contrary to what other people believed.
For me those stretch marks always reminds me that once upon a time there was a tiny baby inside that belly. As you look into your daughter or son, you will be amazed how they grow so fast, a few months or years ago, they are just a tiny being inside your belly, but look at them now? So never mind those stretch marks, the experience and special moments while carrying your baby in the most important thing. Treasure those!

Waiting for the doctor.........who did not show up.
I had my bi-monthly check up yesterday. As usual I have to dragged Gabz with me and drive for myself since hubby is working. I realized yesterday how inconvenient it is to drive when my belly is so big. It keeps bumping on the steering wheel and quite difficult to get out of the car. LOL!
Oh well, yeh i went to my doctors appointment and when I arrived the lady at the reception told me that the doctor is behind schedule for 45 minutes. I said oh well, since I am already here, I will wait. She is not my primary doctor, but since this is a big clinic, they required you to see the rest of their doctors in case that doctor is the one on call during the day you will deliver the baby. So, I was there for like 45 minutes and Gabz is sooo bored already. One lady came out and told me that the doctor will be late for another 45 minutes !!! WHAT? I have been here for 45 minutes and you tell me that I have to wait for another 45 minutes? (she is not even sure if it would only be 45 minutes more) My time is not spent to wait for that doctor the whole day! She said if I want to reschedule for next week, i told her NO because that would be too close for my another schedule.
Why are we always on the mercy of this doctors schedule? I understand that they have other patients to attend too. But I just hope that they will do something in case this kind of thing happened, like calling you before hand that the doctor will be late for an hour and a half? At least you could make adjustment on your part, rather than sitting in their office doing nothing. And take note you are not allowed to be late this long...5 to 10 minutes is max that you could be late, otherwise they will not entertain you.
Sorry, just venting out....but that's life!

Swollen Ankle
I have been doing a lot yesterday. By bedtime, I could already feel all the stress in a days work. My feet is hurting like hell, i could hardly walk, my hands are tingling and everything is aching ! Argh ! Add the fact that I could not find a comfortable position to sleep.
Until this morning, I could still feel all the pain in my body. A long warm bath helps a little bit, but one ankle is still swollen. They call this edema, and is normal when your on your third trimester. Swelling is ok for me, bu the tingling pain is uncomfortable and annoying, especially to people like me who could not tolerate a small discomfort in my body. I know, I'm a whiner !!!
A few Google search found this in BabyCenter.com
Here are a few tips to avoid swelling:
• Put your feet up whenever possible. At work, it helps to keep a stool or pile of books under your desk. At home, lie on your left side when possible.
• Don't cross your legs or ankles while sitting.
• Stretch your legs frequently while sitting: Stretch your leg out, heel first, and gently flex your foot to stretch your calf muscles. Rotate your ankles and wiggle your toes.
• Take regular breaks from sitting or standing. A short walk every so often will help keep your blood circulating.
• Wear comfortable shoes that stretch to accommodate the swelling.
• Don't wear socks or stockings that have tight bands around the ankles or calves.
• Try waist-high maternity support stockings. Put them on before you get out of bed in the morning so blood doesn't have a chance to pool around your ankles.
• Drink plenty of water. Surprisingly, this helps your body retain less water.
• Exercise regularly, especially by walking, swimming, or riding an exercise bike. Or try a water aerobics class — immersion in water may temporarily help reduce swelling, particularly if the water level is up near your shoulders.
• Eat well, and avoid junk food.

To Breastfeed or not?
To all pregnant mommies out there, have you decided already if your are going to breastfeed or bottle feed your baby? I think this is one of the decisions we have to make before we give birth. I remember the moment I gave birth to Gabz, the nurse has to asked me if I want to breastfeed her and I said yes. Unfortunately, I was not able to do so because of some complications.
This time though (crossing my fingers), I hope I could finally do it with baby Andi. Though Gabz grows up to be healthy, mothers milk is still the best for me. I have read that breast milk:

- contains nutrition for growth and development of the baby
- It is easier for babies to digest
- is always available at the right temperature
- babies have fewer allergies and infections
- and the best thing for moms is, it stimulates your uterus to shrink and return to normal size more quickly.

Time to register at the hospital
I just had my 30th weeks check up last Friday. After that I will be having a twice a month checkup then every week. The D day is almost there...10 more weeks to go! I just can't believed it, I will be seeing my little girl very soon. Right now, I can't hardly sleep since finding the right position is quite difficult to find. My belly is so heavy and she constantly moved. Of course when the baby is doing summer sault in your tummy, who could sleep with that? But just loving it, because it means she is healthy!
During my check up, my doctor advised me that it is now the time to register at the hospital where I will deliver the baby. You could either submit the form in their office (then they will forward it to the hospital) or you can register online. Great! they are trying to make my life easy...hehehe
After that, time to get appointment at the hospital for a visit to check the facilities!
Few more weeks mommies!

I have stuffy nose
It's been like a week now that I always have stuffy nose. Do you experienced that ? You feel like you have a long running colds, a few hours it was there and suddenly it's gone. But during the night you could feel that it is there again 'till morning. They said that it's normal to have stuffy nose during pregnancy, but who wants stuffy nose ? I think it's our hormones again controlling our life huh?
I don't want to take any medicine for this as it is bearable, yet annoying. I have to talk to my doctor this Friday what can I do about this.
I just can't believed that time flies so fast. I am on my third trimester now and 10 more weeks to go. I will be meeting my little angel very soon !

I had some spotting AGAIN!
Yesterday, I went to my OB again, because I have some spotting in the morning and I felt like the baby is pushing down already. She immediately asked me to go to their clinic for a check up as I might have symptoms of pre term labor.
She did an ultrasound to check the length of my cervix and if I have some infections going on. Fortunately, everything is ok, except that my placenta is a little low. Ever since I have this pregnancy my placenta has been low, and the doctor said that it might be the cause of my spotting. I was quite concerned if I could still deliver the baby normally even if I have a low placenta. She told me that if my placenta is totally covering my cervix (thanks goodness that it is not!) they have to deliver the baby in C- section. If the placenta is below 2cm from the cervix there would be some bleeding when I deliver normally. If bleeding will be a lot, they have to deliver in c-section but if not they could deliver the baby normally. My placenta is 3 cm from my cervix right now, so I am hoping that it would move up a little or remain as it is so I could deliver the baby safely.
We are hoping that everything will be ok, just pray to GOD that He would keep me and the baby safe.
